Matt Leinart, quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, is making headlines this afternoon for appearing in several questionable photographs involving him and a bunch of scantily-clad college girls. The two “dirtiest” pictures involve Leinart holding a beer bong for a young woman and another where he’s in a hot tub surrounded by four young beauties.

Some bloggers and other people are calling him a loser, a bad role model, so on and so forth, but I say this is absolutely ridiculous:

• Matt Leinart is 24 years old. If he wasn’t doing these things, I’d be worried.
• If the worst trouble he gets in involves beer and women in hot tubs – still wearing their bathing suits – than isn’t that a good sign. I don’t see any drugs, guns, prostitutes or minors involved.

I say to all you people who are getting on Leinart’s case, “Get a f**king life.” Personally, I’m jealous, and I hope he took full advantage of the situation: the guy is young, a quarterback for an NFL team, and surrounded by hot college girls. He better have done more than just sat in a hot tub with them.

And, just for the record, I am a Seattle Seahawks fan, so I want nothing more than to see the Arizona Cardinals continue to fail – the way they do year after year regardless of pre-season hype. I have no love for Leinart, but come on, people… Get a life.

Amanda Righetti… good looking girl, if I’ve ever seen one. In fact, a very good looking girl. Today, April 4th, is her birthday, and just yesterday she received a very nice present: she was cast, presumably in a leading role, in the new Friday the 13th movie, a retelling (read: remake) of the original rise to power of Jason Vorgheese. Did I spell his last name right?

Of course, I have yet to see a good Friday the 13th movie and still have yet to fathom how the franchise has dragged itself to what will soon be 12 films. Twelve films! I understand the appeal of the villain – after all, Jason is one of the coolest horror villains ever – but the movies are just horribly bad. Is this really the track you want to take, Amanda?

Oh yeah, I forgot that so far you’ve been resigned to episodes of “K-Ville” and “The O.C.” Nothing wrong with that, but you need to make your way to the silver screen at some point. And if you’re going to take the horror route, you might as well do it with an established franchise, especially a remake of an established franchise. This new Friday the 13th is going to make a decent amount of money, and Amanda Righetti is going to be riding its coattails. Smart move.

Yesterday, I did a blog post about the movies Enchanted references. There are four pictures in total there, but I have 13 total. For the sake of loading speed, I separated the pictures into three blog posts, so today is the second of three blog posts about the movie Enchanted and the past Disney films that it references. These pictures are actually pretty interesting, as I didn’t pick up on several of them while I was watching the film.

Normally I don’t add pictures post-release, but Disney sent over some interesting pictures that examine the past movies that Enchanted references throughout the course of its running time. Enchanted, now out on DVD, is about a cartoon princess who is banished by an evil witch to the real, modern-day world, where she falls in love with a normal man despite the valiant efforts of a handsome prince.

A teaser poster found its way online a couple days ago from ShoWest for the upcoming George Lucas movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I must say – this movie poster makes the movie look pretty lame. After the artistically done posters for past movies, I would expect something a bit more elaborate than this goofy looking one.

I am really interested to see how Star Wars: The Clone Wars does. It’s a Star Wars movie, but it’s an animated Star Wars movies. It’s still going to make a good chunk of money, the curiosity factor will be there, but a lot of people are going to be turned off by the animated characters. The characters look ridiculously stupid, and it’s going to be hard watching them on the big screen. I’m afraid that this movie is going to further degrade the overall quality of the Star Wars franchise; this movie just wasn’t meant to be made into a cartoon, let alone released in theaters.

This one looks like a winner. Here are the new movie posters for the upcoming movie Virgin Territory. The movie stars Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton. The synopsis for the movie I currently have is simply: Young Florentines regale one another in the Italian countryside while the black plague decimates their city. Wow, sounds stunning.

I like Jena Malone. I really don’t like Jena Malone. I don’t know what it is about her. She’s good looking, but she isn’t hot in the traditional sense. She doesn’t have the perfect body or perfect face, but, then again, maybe that’s a good thing. I think what I like most about her is that she is a pretty girl who chooses pretty good, edgy movies.

Unfortunately, her new movie The Ruins does not look all that great, but at least there’s a picture from the movie involving Jena Malone and a bikini…

New pictures for the highly anticipated Watchmen movie are now online, in the form of five character posters. These Watchmen pictures and Watchmen character posters are pretty impressive, and should give any fan more than enough to tide them over for a few more months. I have never read Watchmen, but I am looking forward to the movie – Zach Snyder, the guy between the new Dawn of the Dead movie and 300, both excellent films among their genres, is directing the movie.

This movie may end up being mindless entertainment, but I must admit that Jumper looks pretty fun. Coming in 2008, it’s about a few individuals who can teleport to anywhere they think about in a split second. The special effects look pretty good, and the concept is neat. Here’s a new poster:

I haven’t seen High School Musical 2 but I hear it’s not too bad. I have heard of Vanessa Hudgens and her nude photos however. I also say her boyfriend and costar Zac Efron on the website Men Who Look Like Old Lesbians, funny enough.

Anyway, High School Musical 2 arrives on DVD and Blu-ray December 11th, and these pictures are from the Extended DVD premiere on November 19th. Normally I don’t do premiere pics, but hey, there’s some cuties (albeit rather young cuties)…

Hey everyone, check out the new Cloverfield movie poster. The marketing campaign has kicked into full gear as we’ve seen the trailer, a ton of new revealing photos and an official title all in the last week – the only thing yet to be seen is the monster (or monsters) itself. Frankly, I hope they keep the movie under wraps until the film releases on 1-18-08.

Now, the studio has released the new Cloverfield movie poster, which is exactly like the old one only with a different aspect ratio and the official title.

Without that extra space at the top, doesn’t it look a bit squished?
