Watch The Dark Knight Rises Trailer

The full-length movie trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, which debuted this weekend with Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, is now online. If you haven’t watched it a dozen times by now, watch it again, because it’s epic, amazing and everything in between. The movie is the final Batman movie by Christopher Nolan and features the villain Bane who, in the comic books, literally broke Batman’s back.

By now, everyone, their mother and Osama bin Laden (can’t make that crack anymore) has seen the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, judging by the hundreds of millions of dollars Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 earned over the weekend. Oh, and the fact that it’s Tuesday and the trailer for the new Batman movie was released Monday morning.

The Best Superhero Movies of the 21st Century

The X-Men return with a fury today, promising some great retro mutant action (I love me some retro mutant action). After two bad movies (X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine), X-Men: First Class is receiving rave reviews. X-Men: First Class currently has a 95% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s being called “a welcome return to form for the franchise.”

Is Zack Snyder the Right Director for Superman?

For those of you who loved 300, at least liked Watchmen, the Superman project just got a whole lot more interesting. Several names have been circling the rumor mill in recent weeks, but the winner to direct the new Superman is Zack Snyder.

Christopher Nolan is overseeing the project as producer and David Goyer is writing the screenplay.

Superman will likely kick ass as a result.
