Look at Oliver Stone’s career from one side and you see a string of celebrated classics. Platoon. Wall Street. Born on the Fourth of July. The Doors. JFK. Natural Born Killers. Impressive. Look at his 21st century career, however, and it paints a different picture. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. W. World Trade Center. Alexander. A couple mediocre films. A few disasters.

Blake Lively Scorches in Savages Trailer and Movie Stills

Universal Pictures recently released the movie trailer for Oliver Stone’s upcoming action-thriller Savages, about two seemingly peaceful drug dealers who go on a rampage when their shared girlfriend (played by scorching-as-always Blake Lively) is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel. It’s a situation most of us can relate to.

New Taking of Pelham 123 Movie Trailer

Columbia Pictures has released a new movie trailer for the upcoming Tony Scott film, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, which stars Denzel Washington and John Travolta. The movie doesn’t really feel like an event film, but this new movie trailer makes large gains. The first trailer was OK but a little cluttered; this new one emphasizes the action and the basic premise with improved focus.
