With the Twilight series officially behind her, Kristen Stewart seeks to make the world forget she ever was Bella, one of the most nauseating protagonists ever put to film. In her first post-Breaking Dawn role, Stewart plays a supporting character who is unafraid to get frisky, get naked and participate in threesomes. Unfortunately, the rest of On the Road isn’t nearly as titillating.

Twilight is no Harry Potter, according to the box office numbers for the opening weekend of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, presumably and hopefully the last entry in the wretched franchise.

Some would describe Snow White and the Huntsman as a fun movie. Others would describe it as a glossy mess. Regardless, there’s no argument that director Rupert Sanders is as good at creating stunning visuals as he is at directing his way into Kristen Stewart’s pants. Unfortunately, the bonus features included on the new Blu-ray release – available in stores now – are immediately forgettable.

Kristen Stewart stars in the upcoming drama Welcome to the Rileys, about a struggling couple still grappling with the death of their teenage daughter. On a business trip to New Orleans, the former father (James Gandolfini) meets a 17-year-old runaway (Kristen Stewart) and the two bond. In a platonic way, of course. Gandolfini is no longer Tony Soprano and can’t get away with that shit. He brings the girl home and his wife (Melissa Leo) has an affair with her. Or, the unlikely addition to the family helps renew their marriage.

I’m clearly not going to be hired by Samuel Goldwyn Films anytime soon to write synopses for their movies.

Regardless, the studio has released several new edgy photos of Twilight star Kristen Stewart. Sexy or ugly? You tell me.

“Jailbait.” What better way to describe Dakota Fanning in The Runaways, in which she plays sexy young starlet Cherie Currie opposite Kristen Stewart, who plays Joan Jett. Both onscreen and in real life, the young actress has suddenly transformed from eerily good child actor to can’t-wait-til-she’s-eighteen sex symbol (for creepy perverted men, not me – of course). In recent years, Fanning has played a sexed-up 13-year old in the superhero flick Push, a torture-loving villain in Twilight (alongside Stewart) and now a drug-crazed singer. All audiences should be eager to see what she, and Stewart, do next.

Whoever said “mediocrity sells” is right, as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is gearing up for its second week of release $200 million richer. It’s amazing what cheesy dialogue and pouty characters can do for a movie. Bella, Edward and Jacob return for the third movie in the four-and-a-half-part series, and thankfully it’s no New Moon: it actually has a plot, climax and purpose for existing.
