Review: If ‘This is 40,’ Thank God I’m 30

Funny and perhaps predictive of my future, This Is 40 is the fourth movie from director Judd Apatow and a quasi-sequel to the hilarious Knocked Up. A snapshot of one week of the lives of married parents Pete and Debbie, This Is 40 evokes plenty of laughs, even though the scenes are somewhat aimless and eventually unnecessary.

Wanderlust is Actually, Sort of, Really Funny

From the director of Wet Hot American Summer comes a more polished version of Wet Hot American Summer, a hippie-themed romp of comedy bits that work more than not. The title is Wanderlust, another Judd Apatow-produced laugh fest.

Our Idiot Brother Movie Review

A pothead hippie idealist who was stupid enough to sell drugs to a uniformed police officer is released from jail and integrates not-so-seamlessly into the lives of his three sisters in Our Idiot Brother, a surprisingly thoughtful comedy that doesn’t stir up a lot of laughs but is genuinely enjoyable nonetheless.

From the Director of Role Models… Wanderlust

Paul Rudd has reunited with the director of Role Models for the comedy Wanderlust, in theaters February 24, 2012. In the movie, Rudd and Jennifer Aniston play a fast-paced couple who lose their life savings and decide to hit the road. They become stranded at a commune, where they discover life doesn’t need to be as hectic as they’ve lived it.
