Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his "partner-against-crime" whose preoccupation with his wife's alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball....

Movie Review

Sometimes you have to sell out to do good. Someone told me that once. Not really. Many of Kevin Smith's small but devoted legion of fans - which includes me - cried foul when Cop Out debuted, and it's understandable why. A generic buddy cop movie starring Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan, Cop Out is a departure from Smith's other movies and a clear cash grab. I'm not complaining, but I am saying. Despite its lack of originality, Willis and Morgan do manage to piece together enough funny moments to help the film avoid being a complete wash.
