Movie Review

There's a place where imagination runs wild and fans anticipate and buzz about potential, where any movie can be great and unicorns frolic among rolling hills of candy grass and butterflies that pee lemonade. It's called pre-production, and somewhere between days one and two is where the nightmare that Dragonball Evolution came into existence.

Putting aside that I am a huge fan of Dragonball, this movie was in general pure garbage. I had to avert my eyes at some points and it was painful to watch. seriously, this movie is as bad as sorority boys. I dont even think the script writer double checked the first draft before this went into production. A horrible movie and a disgrace to the original series.

It does not surprise me that this movie turned out to be such utter garbage. Stop for 5 minutes turn on one of these cartoons and without looking at the screen just listen to the sounds of grunting and groaning amongst the terrible script. Yes it is meant to be a kids show but they could at least try and get some form of intelligent dialogue into the cartoon. With such garbage being put into the cartoon how can anyone expect this movie to be much better. The producers, director, and especially the scriptwriters need their heads examined to produce such a terrible movie.

This kind of thing is soooo bad it should in fact be a crime. Sure i am a DB,BDZ, and DBGT fan so i know how the story is suppose to be(so i would have a bias opinion) but my love for the anime aside....this movie still sucks so bad i think it gave me cancer. There was no movement it just sped along, it made no sense to me at all how they could take a great show and turn it into that gay excuse for a movie. Piccolo looked so bad he had virtually no lines, there was no point in yamcha even existing, and it answers no questions. like why piccolo was attacking, how he escaped how goku changes clothes in a crash, or how about who the hell the non speaking shapeshifting sidekick is. Good god this is trash, avert your gaze quick!!! If i could give this an "F-" i would but i have to SETTLE for a plain "F" in the rating.
