Movie Review
Matthew McConaughey takes on the Truman role as Ed, a man who has been hired to have his life filmed twenty-four hours a day. This might sound familiar to 1998's blockbuster hit The Truman Show, but it is not even close. Of course, the premise behind the same movies are the same, the debate whether it is morally right to invade someone's privacy without their control, but otherwise, everything is different. Ed knows he is being filmed the entire time, and the movie focused more on a normal Joe Blow who has an ordinary life instead of a picture-perfect man living in a picture-perfect town such as in The Truman Show. The result? Not as good as The Truman Show in any respect, but still a good watch. Full movie review »
