February 26, 2007If you haven't read the book October Sky, I really think you should. While the book and the movie are similar, there are quite a few differences. But the movie was absolutely wonderful, and it was incredibly inspiring. I wanted to go build a rocket myself. But I WOULD blow myself up- and not just a fence.

February 26, 2007People, you bring down the creditability of this website when you swear on posts. Please, if you're going to swear, do it somewhere else, and stop using wonderful movies to say your stupid movie insults, none of which make any sense, and which make you sound unintelligent and inable to use self-control.
This movie was an excellent movie, however, the screenplay was not completely similar to the book, which was, in my opinion, a 5 star book. Read the book, then see the movie.
