Like most Disney movies, the story of Pocahontas is twisted into a children's story. It has impressive visuals and a fairly good story but there were too many things that made it go wrong. The soundtrack was nice but extremely annoying and sappy. The talking tree was dumb and pointless. To put it flatly, Pocahontas was a bad movie. Full movie review »

Pocahontas was an awesome movie. Sure, it got some of its facts wrong; she married John Rolfe, not John Smith. But then again, it WAS a children's movie, and it got its basic point across about how settlers took the Native Americans' land and how each viewed the other. Really deep, sentimental songs. I loved it.
