Max Fischer is the head of just about every activity and club at Rushmore High... he is also one of the worst students. And when he falls in love with one of the teachers working there, he becomes friends with one of the school's benefactors, Mr. Blume. And when Blume falls in love with the same teacher, they become enemies....

tells the twisted tale of a boy who falls in love with his teacher and will do just about anything to get her to love him back. Okay, so that might not be the best explanation, but it's the best I can do to paraphrase. The fact is, Rushmore
is a weird and original film that emphasizes on a comedy not seen in most movies. Bill Murray seems right at home - that's not to say he has a weird sense of comedy, but it seems that in this movie his true style is revealed. Full movie review »
