Movie Review

The author of Starship Troopers is probably rolling in his grave right now. The action scenes were idiotic and pointless, deploying soldiers down to the planets to get slaughtered (and they show it to which becomes quite boring) instead of dropping nukes from space. The aliens, overall, were stupid looking and they had brain bugs (the leaders), bugs that shoot acid/fire, and bugs that fly and shoot lasers. Another big disappointment was that the first half was a soap opera on Earth, having nothing to do with the bugs themselves. They should have learned from ID4 and shown the destruction of the cities (which they didn't obviously) and to top off the annoyance, they had war commercials, such as in Robocop, only these were stupid, annoying, and idiotic. The acting was bad; the only good side was the graphics. Starship Troopers should have been called Starship Lovers with Blood. Full movie review »
