If Michael Douglas were President, we'd be a perfect nation. Fun loving, a down-to-earth guy, Douglas plays the ultimately positive President. Annete Bening is Sydney, a strong, comical, emotional, pivoting role in The American President and strong performances by others such as Martin Sheen, Michael J.
