Man-Thing is a great Marvel character, but, as usual, Hollywood has to interject their politically correct "morals" in this production. The "bad guy" is wealthy, and the "good guys" are displaced native Americans...I mean indians. Don't be surprised if a homeless person...I mean a bum, shows up as a "wise sage, with all the answers". Give me a break!

Is the lack of a carrot nose any surprise? It's almost as if Hollywood intentially tries to destroy essential elements of Marvel characters, just to stir up controversy among comic book fans. Black leather X-Men, spider-Man with organic web shooters, and a Hulk that grows three stories tall and runs like the Flash. It's just more of the same. I guess i'll wait for this one to go to video, too. :(

From what I hear, this man-thing will not be sporting the carrot nose that made him so cool. Why bother?

hopefully, this will not turn out to be an abomination like that weak Howard the Duck movie from the 80's. It's about time we saw some decent movies made from the plethora of awesome marvel characters spawned in the 70's!The comic series is fantastic. I am eagerly awaiting this film.
