Movie Review
Definitely ranking near the top of pointless remakes, The Grudge is the Hollywood version of Ju-On, a Japanese horror movie that was made way back in... 2003! Yes, this a remake of a one year old movie, and, to really make things ridiculous, director Takashi Shimizu has returned to "reinvent" his own movie, along with some of the same actors who played the ghosts in the original. June 22, 2004If this movie is anything like the ring, then it will be so f****** awesome. And the fact that Sarah Michelle Gellar is going to be in it is just a load of icing on the cake. With the Scooby do movies, whcih sucked ass this movie will probably open the door for better movies so that she can grow as an actress than doing the same old shit. But this film looks great even if she wasnt in it but the fact that she is is awesome and that its filmed in Tokyo is another great reason to look forward to the movie. It adds diveristy.
