Movie Review
Following the successes of three Marvel comic book adaptations, the Incredible Hulk finally arrives on the big screen, but with many added pressures. It is at that point where there is bound to be a comic book movie failure; the bubble is destined to burst at some point. January 29, 2004This movie wasn't that bad. I thought it was pretty good. Sure, it starts off a little slow and may be a little boring but when Hulk starts appearing, it gets a lot better and interesting. Plus, this movie was more about bruce and explaining Hulks problems. Hulk 2 will feature more action, now that most of the scientific crap is out of the way. Go to comics2film.com

December 5, 2003This movie was the only Marvel film that I've seen in which the cheesiest aspects of comic books are emphasized beyond belief. People don't read comics for the gutters between panels, but that's what was represented by an insane number of silly swipes, fades, etc. to change scenes, in which nothing was happening! There were some good action scenes. The computer graphics weren't very impressive, but that was probably the least of the film's problems. The story wasn't very interesting, and even a crazy Nick Nolte couldn't make up for the montage style beginning sequence that summarized Bruce Banner's life.
