I am a very big Lord Of The Rings fan, especially how my Nan and Grampa love it too!!
I love Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen, and the guy that plays Faramir. Fair enough. I think that it is a great fantasy movie, and book. It has got a lot of good action in it, though maybe alot of that action isn't really intense fighting scenes.
I am going to be fair, and say at least one bad thing about it, not all WOW it was so amazing blah blah blah! The end bit was way way way too long. All the long gazes, Frodo to Gandalf, to Sam, to Pippin, to Merry, back to Frodo, to Bilbo, YAWN!!! Some people say that it should ended when Aragon got crowned, but i would have been fine if it ended when it did, because that it is quite important too, if only it wasn't so long. Some people think that an emotional ending is worng and lame, but i disagree; i think that an emotional ending is good, because it is supossed to make you sad, or happy, depending on the movie, to make you feel more about that movie, and make you feel like the charaters are real.
So, emotional ending good, long one, bad.
There, i have tried to give this a fair review, instead of saying, this must be great because Orlando Bloom is in it, (which proved very hard for me!!).
I give this a grade of A.

this perhaps not the best of all time is still one of the best epic fanatasys in a long time the battle scenes are top notch and the visuals are stunning i thought the movie was great and the extended version that came out on dvd is even better as it ties things up alot better and also explains what hapened to Saruman which although different from the book is still pretty cool. if you havnt seen it, watch it its great

How can you people praise a movie like ROTK? I heard so many people say before I saw it that it was the best and better than the other 2 combined. Some people even go as far into idiocy as to say its the best movie aver made, I tend to strongly disagree. I dont think ive ever witnessed such a disappointing film in my life, the battle scene was weak, little action from the heroes of the first 2 movies. The ending omg i cant even begin to tell you how much i hated it. The ending was WAY over the top and too emotional and lame, It just kept going on and on and on. I was let down big time on this one. I respect all of your opinions and i hope you can do the same for me but i cant give this movie a grade above D.
