Elfmother says:
May 4, 2010This movie deserves far more attention than it has been given. There is true beauty in the art, the animation, the history, the story, the music. Even if you know nothing of The Book of Kells, you will appreciate the struggle to bring the book "to the people" and give them hope in dark times. You will appreciate the wit and humor, the charm, the moments of fear and terror as the darkness seems poised to subsume all in its path. Every good tale must contain some of this joyous frisson of fear, yes? Go and see this movie! Right now! You'll never regret it.
