Event Horizon (1997) - Movie Review

To put it in layman's terms, Event Horizon is the grossest, freakiest movie I've ever seen. As a matter of fact, I rather liked it. Event Horizon was much like Sphere, in essence, but at the same time different, far, far different. And far superior. Though the gore was utterly disgusting and rather unpleasant to watch, Event Horizon featured frightening horror that far exceeds Alien. It's dark setting is truly spooky, surrounded by strange architecture and shown with great cinematography. Most of the space graphics looked excellent, though some looked rather cheesy, but graphics were only a scratch on the surface of this movie. Event Horizon is like Alien in content and Sphere in story, but it is much gorier and much scarier.
