The X-Files (1998) - Movie Review
Everything you expected in The X-Files is here. Anything they couldn't do in the television show, they accomplished in the movie. The X-Files delivers the same, sci-fi, government conspiracy style story on the big screen, equipped with special effects, a broader setting, and gigantic results! David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are excellent; nothing is lost in their characters from the transition from television to movie. The story is complex and, though it doesn't give an absolute truth (which would kill the show), it does tie up some loose ends, especially about the previous season. The X-Files delivered everything I wanted in a movie and so much more.
