Very Bad Things (1998) - Movie Review
What was Jon Favreau, Leland Orser, Cameron Diaz, Christian Slater, Jeremy Piven, Daniel Stern, and Jeanne Tripplehorn (and anyone else I left out) thinking? Did they read the script before hand? Did they actually think it was funny?
A bunch of stupid guys accidentally kill a prostitute and, to cover it up, kill a hotel security guard. As time progresses between the incident and one of the character's weddings to the equally viscous Cameron Diaz, the characters become increasingly paranoid and start killing more people.
This movie isn't funny. It is supposed to be funny but it is not. When the prostitute is killed, the scene is bloody. They then chop up the two bodies, shove the limbs and chunks in suitcases, and then reorganize them to bury them in the desert.
I don't need to complain about anything else. Very Bad Things is a very bad movie.
