A Perfect Murder (1998) - Movie Synopsis & Plot
Steven Taylor is a millionaire who has the power to control the lives of everyone he knows, including his wife. He has the money, he has the position, but he doesn't have his wife's devotion. Denied complete freedom, Emily Taylor was looking for a way out and fell in love with a poor, young painter named David Shaw. Their attraction soon turned into a passionate, steaming affair. It was supposed to be harmless. It led to murder.
Emily knew what she had to do: Tell her husband the complete truth and marry Shaw... she just didn't know when or how. But by the time she realized she had to tell him, Steven Taylor already knew. And he already had a plan. It was simple: For half a million dollars, her lover, an ex-convict, would sneak into the house, mimicking a burglary, and murder Emily Taylor.
Things didn't go as planned. Emily is still alive. Shaw is blackmailing Taylor. And Taylor has a backup plan in mind that will deceive one and kill the other. What started out as a perfect murder has turned into a triangle conspiracy, where at any moment one could turn on you.
