Dr. Dolittle (1998) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Dr. Dolittle has it all: A wonderful career, a beautiful wife, and two daughters. He also is on the verge of signing a gigantic financial deal with a company. Then it all falls apart. Suddenly, his ability to understand animals is unleashed and everywhere he goes, they are talking to him. People think he's gone crazy, but the animals adore him. Finally, there is someone that can understand their pain, and cure it. Passing word among one another, the animals come to Dr. Dolittle, asking for assistance, but, in the process, drives him to a mental hospital.
