Escape From L.A. Movie Synopsis & Plot

After a devastating earthquake, Los Angeles was split from the mainland. The government, realizing how high a crime rate LA had, quarantined it off, making it a prison.

15 years after "Escape from New York," Snake Plissken, the one eyed ruthless criminal, is captured, this time being recruited by the United States President. He forces Snake into going to LA to retrieve a black box which controls a deadly satellite which his renegade daughter, Utopia, stole. Injected with a virus that will kill him in 10 hours, it's a race against time to get the Black Box back into the mainland. However, as the rival gangs and criminals team up against him, Snake realizes that whoever has the Black Box has the ability to change the world forever.

MOVIE REVIEW

Escape From LA had potential and the first half hour isn't bad. Then comes the rest. Steadily and quickly, the movie degrades into about the worst flick I've ever seen! The acting was bad, the graphics were bad, and the story was bad. The characters were awful, including the main character, and Kurt Russel's dismal performance didn't help.
