Extreme Measures (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

New York. A homeless man enters a hospital, his name unknown, origin unclear. Pulse and breathing irregular... nothing like anyone had seen before... a blank hospital tag on his wrist, incision on his spine... The man dies, the body disappears, and all records are deleted. No one gives the man's death a second thought, except for the doctor in charge, Guy Luthan.

Suspecting something larger than what appears, Guy begins to look into the man's history, and track down a friend of the man that he mentioned before death. However, in doing so, his apartment is coincidentally broken into, a sack of cocaine is found by his bed, and stolen hospital material is found in his posession. Now, with the police thinking him a druggie, his career in ruins, and his friends obsolete, Luthan is determined to track down the mysterious men that are destroying his life, and several others.

In the process, Luthan will stumble across something that will rattle the scientific world and question his morals once and for all... before he is killed.
