Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

The Earth has been overrun by an alien race that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Almost all humans are dead, except for the ones that live in various outposts around the world. The World Council has devised a way to kill the alien threat, but some feel that the laser device will also destroy the Earth.
