Firelight (1997) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Beautiful but poor Swiss governess Elisabeth (Sophie Marceau), meets secretly with an English landowner, Charles Godwin (Stephen Dillane), to conceive a child in exchange for money. Seven years later, the two are drawn together again when Elisabeth joins Charles' forlorn household as governess to Louisa (Dominique Belcourt).
