From Russia With Love (1963) - Movie Synopsis & Plot
When the British Secret Service is informed by the Russian Tatiana Romanova that she is working with a Lektor machine in the Middle East, they send James Bond to recover it. Romanova has asked that in return for the Lektor machine they grant her immunity within Britain. Bond wants to give her more than just immunity. But, at the same time, she is working with the Russian government... or so she thinks. General Rosa Klebb tells Romanova to pretend to defect, but she doesn't know that Klebb is working for SPECTRE now, not mother Russia. Still, she follows orders, but also wants to defect.
When Bond arrives in the city, he meets Romanova and a strong relationships quickly grows between them. But their happiness is swiftly swelled by the attacks of a SPECTRE agent, and Bond almost instantly realizes that things aren't going to be as easy as it seems.
