Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Murtaugh is only days away from retirement but he and his partner, Riggs, are about to be thrown into a case that will once again jeopardize their futures. An ex-cop turned criminal mastermind is selling illegal weapons to street gangs; he stole them right from police deposits. He's also distributing the so-called "cop-killers," armor-piercing bullets.

Joining Murtaugh and Riggs (not to mention Leo Getz) is straight-laced Lorna Cole, an attractive, slick Internal Affairs officer that may just be wilder than Riggs which ultimately leads to a relationship. But love does not get in the way as they continue to hunt down the corrupted police officer, determined to show him justice for placing guns in the hands of kids.
