Mr. Nice Guy (1997) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Giancarlo is an ambitious Druglord who is receiving some stolen cocaine from his arch rivals, the Demons. However, after a gun fight, a piece of scenery is blown away, revealing a woman named Diana, a reporter. She flees with the incriminating video tape she just took.

Meanwhile, Jackie, a beloved cook of a hit television show is walking home when he runs into Diana. Acting in only her self defense, he takes them down. However, angered, the gangsters target Jackie and Diana and him try to escape once more. They do, but not before the reporter accidentally switches her tape with one of Jackie's cooking shows. Now, suddenly, Jackie is on the run from the Demons and Giancarlo, his girlfriend Miki being held ransom. His quest; to bring the tape to them before she is killed. There's only one problem: his nephew took it, thinking it was a new action movie.
