Multiplicity (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Doug Kinney is about to crack. A demanding job and a loving wife leaves him with no time to enjoy either. Then he meets the renowned genetics doctor Owen Leeds who offers him a solution to his problems. Cloning.

Kinney accepts and when he returns home, he is accompanied by an exact double who looks, talks, and basically is, him. The clones job; do his job for him and stay out of sight of his wife, Laura. However, the clone becomes disgruntled and goes to Leeds, making a clone of himself. Unfortunately, a clone of a clone results in a mutation. This one is a little strange. Meaning childish. And stupid. And mental.

Kinney soon finds himself in over his head as more and more clones begin to appear, his wife still not knowing. But what will happen when they start mingling with his wife? Can I stop her from knowing what he did?
