Muppet Treasure Island (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

When Jim Hawkins receives a treasure map from a mysterious sailor, he sets out with his friends Gonzo and Rizzo to find the gold.

However, when Long John Silver and his crew of pirates seize the map and take Jim prisoner, it's up to the dashing Captain Smollett (Kermit the Frog) to stop the mutineers. He may have more than he bargained for, unfortunately, when he comes across a tribe of native warthogs ruled by Miss Piggy. Suddenly, the Captain and his crew find themselves stuck between gold-lusting pirates and a pack of wild pigs, and nothing is going to stand in Silver's way. Nothing.
