My Fellow Americans (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

Two former Chief Executives, Russell Kramer (Jack Lemmon) and Matthew Douglas (James Garner), who hate everything about each other -- but hate their own lives out of the political limelight even more -- are thrown together and on the road. When a scandal brewing in the White House threatens to implicate both of them, Kramer and Douglas head out of the Beltway and into the real America to dodge the operatives who want to track them down.
