He is a hard-driving newspaper columnist/every-other-weekend Dad, taking on the improprieties of City Hall. Having been let down in the past, she has almost given up on men, except for the adorable five-year old who calls her Mommy; and he thinks that women are just fine ... as long as they keep their emotional distance.
