Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

It's Vietnam, 1968 and five Green Berets have set out on an unthinkable mission; to smuggle an 8,000 pound elephant to a remote village. Captain Sam Cahill promised the Montagnard villagers of Dak Nhe to replace their prized elephant due to the fact that if the villagers become angry, the Americans may lose their supposedly strategic post in the jungle.

Captain T.C. Doyle thinks that the mission is nothing more than a waste of time but is forced along anyway. With a mismatched team, they find that their goal may be harder than they first thought. And the enemy is in their way.

That leaves one solution to getting the elephant to the village; parachute him.
