Charlie is a broke horse gambler who has just convinced his widowed brother-in-law, Herb, to go on a cruise. However, after arriving, Herb learns the horrible truth; Charlie, to get on the cruise for free, he signed them up as dance hosts. Things get worse when they meet their manager, an eccentric jerk-off named Gil Godwyn, whom is looking for a promotion to vice president. His rules are simple; no having personal relationships with the passengers. Unfortunately, that's exactly what Charlie joined the cruise for and he's found a beautiful, young woman named Liz. Herb, on the other hand, has accidentally fallen for a woman, his first since his wife which passed away some years ago. Now, stuck between paying for the cruise or being with the women they love, Charlie and Herb are going to have one hectic trip aboard one of the finest vessels on the water.
