Psycho II (1983) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

22 years ago, in a spree of chaos and insanity, Norman Bates butchered seven people. Now he has returned, supposedly sane and ready for a second chance. He accepts that his mother is dead... he accepts that she can no longer talk to him, write to him, or kill others.

At least for a while. At first, Norman thought it was just his relapsing memories... the old woman in the window, the mysterious phone calls, the notes... The murders. One by one, people around him are dying by the tip of the knife, and, although the prime suspect, no one has any direct evidence against him. Nevertheless, people, including himself, are beginning to wonder if he really is sane...

But what if he is telling the truth? What if someone- his mother, perhaps - is sending him messages, warning him of deaths that are about to occur? What if someone is trying to drive him over the edge once and for all? Or possibly, Mrs. Bates is still alive...
