Robin Monroe is a New York magazine writer that has traveled to the tropics with her new fiancé Frank Martin. However, when she is called to Tahiti on a business trip, her life is turned upside down. During a thunder storm, her plane is struck by lightning and the pilot, Quinn Harris, crash-lands them into an uncharted island. Radio and emergency beaker fried, they are forced to find other methods of returning to civilization. As their relationship escalates, though, so does the danger, as pirates with machine guns appear at the shore, hungry for money and thirsty for blood.

The story was less than original, the scripting nothing special. But did that stop Six Days, Seven Nights? No. The duo of Ford and Heche was great, filled with comedy, romance, and adventure. Age still hasn't caught up with Harrison; he proves that he can still bust the moves. Six Days, Seven Nights is a fun movie to watch, a rest from the bloody, shoot-them-up films that crop up so frequently during the summer.
