Star Trek: First Contact (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

The Borg have attacked, their target Earth. The only thing that can stop them; the Enterprise E, commanded by Captain Jean Luc Picard. They quickly destroy the ship but a small vessel gets away; they pursue. The ship falls into a time rift, taking them back to pre-Federation times, where the Enterprise destroys the Borg ship. A number of crew members are sent down to 21st century Earth to repair the first warp ship which was the Borgs' target. If the ship was destroyed, the Federation wouldn't exist.

Onboard the Enterprise, things are going wrong. The climate controls are changing and computers are shutting down. The Borg have boarded. Suddenly, Picard finds himself on the defensive end as his ship is taken over by the deadly creatures intent on nothing but assimilating humans into their collective.
