Star Trek: Generations - Movie Synopsis & Plot
The 23rd Century. It is the christening flight of the Enterprise-B and, just like the ship, the crew is new. Nevertheless, legendary, and retired, Starfleet officers James T. Kirk, Montgomery Scott, and Pavel Chekov are along for the ride, just for publicity. But their skills are put to the test when the Enterprise-B receives a distress call from two ships caught in an energy field. Without weapons or other useful items, the Enterprise can hardly do more than watch as the ships are torn apart in the ribbon, or, as they would later learn, the Nexus. Still, Kirk refuses to give up and sets out to save the ships, but, in the process, is sucked into space.
Seven decades later, the Enterprise-D is now the top ship around. Commanded by the powerful Captain Picard and supported by a talented crew, they are the new power in the galaxy. But they too are going to encounter the Nexus and have a chance to fix time. Unfortunately, they are about to go against the insane Dr. Soran, a man of high intelligence and undeniable ambition. His goal: To return to paradise, the Nexus. The consequence: The death of millions and the utter destruction of entire worlds. And the Enterprise.
