John Conner thought that he was safe. Six years after Judgment Day was supposed to happen, he is still on the run, but holds a glimmer of hope that he actually did defeat Skynet once and for all and stop the end of the world. Unfortunately, he did not, and the robots have sent back a new Terminator to kill him and his future lieutenants; in response, the humans have also sent back a Terminator to protect him.
