In one tragic moment, Dr. Richard Kimble's life changed from luxurious to tragic. His wife is dead, brutally murderer, the killer, a one-armed man, has gotten away, and he is accused and committed of the crime. Sentenced to execution by lethal ejection, he is put on a bus to be shipped to the nearby penitentiary...

But before he gets there, a hideous accident leaves him free in the wilderness. With the law tracking his every move, Richard Kimble returns to Chicago to prove himself innocent and find the man responsible for his wife's murder, but the truth may be larger than what he ever thought possible.
