The Green Mile (1999) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

In 1935 in a southern prison, head guard Paul Edgecombe thought he'd seen it all. Until he met John Coffey, a seven-foot, black inmate convicted of murder. He is on death row, or, as the other inmates call it, the Green Mile. Coffey has been sentenced to death for murdering and raping two white girls, but Paul becomes unsure.
