On a small island, an outcast scientist has created the gap between humans and animals. His loyal subjects, half-human, half animal, obey his every command. Until one day. After years of persecution, the animals revolt, killing the Doctor. Edward Douglas, a man who arrived only a few days before when he was found on the beach, finds himself trapped by the hideous creatures who would enjoy nothing better than killing him.
