The human race has discovered that a quarter million sentinel robots are digging toward the last human city of Zion, and when they get there, it will mean the extermination of free mankind. But, in the Matrix, Neo has been told by the Oracle to find the gatekeeper, who will give him access to the system mainframe. If he succeeds, it could end the robot's rule once and for all.
