THE OPPOSITE OF SEX is the story of Dedee Truitt (Christina Ricci), a sixteen-year-old girl who runs away from her troubled Louisiana home one summer to live with her rich half brother Bill (Martin Donovan). She soon wreaks havoc in the lives of everyone she encounters, from Bill's new boyfriend Matt (Ivan Sergei) to his sexually repressed best friend Lucia (Lisa Kudrow).
