The Peacemaker (1997) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

A Russian train, carrying several nuclear missiles, is hijacked. Several devices are stolen, taken into the back country of Russia. Following the nuclear explosion that covered up foul play, two Americans, a nuclear scientist, Dr. Julia Kelly, and an intelligence agent, Thomas Devoe, realize that the train crash is more than what it seems.

They track down the terrorists, retrieving the missiles, only to find that one got away. One too many. Soon, after many desperate hours, they learn that the bomb is coming into New York City where the remaining terrorist, a Muslim rebel, plans to set it off.
