The Sunchaser (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

An overachieving oncologist, Dr. Michael Reynolds (Woody Harrelson) is kidnapped by a 16 year-old gang-banger named "Blue" (Jon Seda), who breaks out of prison to find a legendary healing lake that may hold the secret to saving him from the rare tumor that has sentenced him to death within one month. With Blue clutching to life through his faith in the magical power of the sacred lake, Michael holds fast to his steadfast beliefs in the rigid science of Western Medicine.
