Twister (1996) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

When a tornado strikes, most run for cover. Most. Meteorologists Bill and Jo Harding, for years, have been trying to figure out how tornadoes work. If they succeed, it would be historical, for they could predict tornadoes long before they arrived. And this year, the largest storm in decades is brewing, promising to reveal multiple tornadoes. As they go from one to another, Bill, Jo, and the rest of the crew realize that their machines, smartly named Dorothy, are too light to get inside the tornadoes. Intent on beating their rivals, Dr. Jonas Miller and his crew, they plot to devise a way on getting it to work.
