Virus (1999) - Movie Synopsis & Plot

In a sudden burst of energy, the MIR space station is left inactive and the crew dead. Below, on Earth, a mysterious creature enters a Russian Research vessel that was in contact with MIR. And the crew of a sinking ship seeks refuge within.

The ship apparently abandoned, all equipment left behind, the only thing that seems logical to the stranded crew is to salvage it for money. But they aren't alone on the ship. There is a being on board, far superior in strength, wit, and agility, that is trying to eliminate the only threat to its existence, the virus called man.

Upon rebooting the ship and turning the power back on, they unleash the creature. Part man, part robot, existing in every corner of the ship, there is no escape from the deadly alien. Everywhere they turn, it is there, waiting to kill them. To them, the humans on board are a virus, nothing more than biological material...

And the creature has set course for an Intelligence Station that could send it anywhere in the world. As the crew fights for their life, they realize the survival of man depends on the survival of themselves.
